News & urgent needs
Alongside the ongoing projects we support specific needs of children, young people and families: school trips, medical help, studies or emergencies. Here is a selection of current and past one-off projects.
School trip for the Soteri children (2025)
Nine children in our school programme attend St. Soteri Junior School in the 2025 school year (ages 8–13). For the second term (from May) the school is planning a day trip to eastern Uganda. The cost is about €20 per child (80,000 UGX), around €180 for all nine. The year before we were able to fund the swimming course; for the trip we hope for additional donations.

Other one-off projects (a selection)
In the past we have supported, among other things, orthodontic treatment for Samuel, studies for Isaac, support for Scovia, Happiness and Jayden, Henry’s family and Junior. The detailed accounts are in the sponsor updates and reports.
